Kolkata Menopause Society begins two day long 4th Annual Conference at Swabhumi

The two-day-long 4th Annual Conference, organised by the Kolkata Menopause Society, began today at Raaj RaajKutir, Swabhumi. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Guest of Honour Dr Sudhaa Sharma, National President of the Indian Menopause Society and other gynaecologists of national repute. 

"This year, the theme of the conference is "www. Weight, Wellness & Women - the complex web". Today, the hysteroscopy masterclass was conducted by programme mentor-in-chief Milind Telang, and three chairpersons, namely Abhinibesh Chatterjee, Amit Basu and Pushan Kundu. Various topics were covered, including instrumentation and equipment, retroscopes, energy sources and others. A panel discussion was held where hysteroscopic experts participated. Six stations have been formed on a makeshift basis where different doctors discussed different topics. Tomorrow, a session has been specifically curated for free communication for the doctors, followed by competitive videos and postgraduate quiz," said Dr Arnab Basak, Organising Secretary, Kolkata Menopause Society. 

The highlight of the conference is multiple symposiums and point-of-view chats, which is a great opportunity for gynaecologists and other doctors of concern. No doubt, this conference highlights the commitment of the Kolkata Menopause Society to the upgradation and updating of medical expertise to treat menopause. The huge participation of the doctors is encouraging for the Kolkata scenario.
